ENISo was established in July 2005 to meet a national need for engineers in innovative cutting-edge specialties, notably mechatronics (Meca), industrial electronics (EI), and applied computer science (IA). In addition, two new fields were added in 2017-2018: embedded telecommunications (GTE) and mechanics and production (GMP). These specialties allow ENISo to stand out from other national engineering schools.

Each of the five programs offers versatile skills that facilitate our engineers' professional integration. The various study programs aim to equip engineering students with solid foundational knowledge to continuously adapt to technological advancements.

ENISo is located in the heart of the "Innovation City" in the city of Sousse, which is home to many small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of mechatronics, computer science, telecommunications, and electronics. These companies host a significant number of ENISo graduates for internships, final projects, and engineering positions. ENISo graduates have also gained a strong reputation in Greater Tunis and internationally, with an employability rate nearing 100% within a year.

ENISo has established numerous partnership agreements with national and international companies and institutions, allowing students and engineering students to gain professional experience throughout their training. At ENISo, we primarily aim to train job creators rather than job seekers, particularly in the aforementioned fields. We also aim to train researchers, especially at the master's and doctoral levels, in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and ICT. Additionally, we strive to attract the best teachers and administrative staff to reach a top global level. The industrial character of ENISo, particularly with two departments bearing this term in their names, compels us to emphasize this aspect in training while also keeping pace with its evolution.
