Mission

Through multidisciplinary training focused on innovation, the Department of Industrial Electronics equips students with strong skills in industrial electronics, automation, embedded systems, and machine control.

Research & Innovation

For students interested in research, the department offers a doctoral program in Electrical Engineering and hosts the research lab “Laboratory of Advanced Technology and Intelligent Systems” - LATIS. Its research activities revolve around four main themes: computer vision and AI, document analysis and processing, electromagnetic compatibility and reliability, and renewable energy and smart grids.
