Welcome to the National Engineering School of Sousse-ENISo, a center of excellence located at the heart of the Novation City Technopark, a dynamic environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship. Since its establishment in July 2005, our school has been committed to training competent, innovative, and socially responsible engineers, prepared to become drivers of technological development and job-creating entrepreneurs.
Our five engineering specialties (Mechatronics, Applied Computer Science, Industrial Electronics, Embedded Telecommunications, Mechanical and Production Engineering) cover a wide range of cutting-edge fields. All our engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (CTI) and hold the EUR-ACE label, thus ensuring international recognition and enhanced mobility for our graduates within the European area. Starting in September 2025, a new engineering track in Automotive Software Engineering will be launched to train the talents of tomorrow. We also offer two research master's programs in Telecommunications Engineering and Advanced Techniques in Electrical Engineering, as well as a professional master's program, MasTech, developed in collaboration with the National Engineering School of Monastir as part of a TEMPUS project.
In addition, our school is certified ISO 21001, an international standard that attests to the effectiveness of our education management system and guarantees the quality and relevance of our training for students and stakeholders.
Thanks to strong partnerships with companies and universities at both national and international levels, we offer our students opportunities for joint degrees, double degrees, and collaborative research and innovation projects. ENISo is also a member of the Mediterranean network of engineering and management schools, allowing access to a vast network of academic and professional collaborations in the Mediterranean region, thereby strengthening student exchanges and mobility. These collaborations, supported by our integration within the technopark, enable our students to become part of professional and academic environments both nationally and internationally, while fostering entrepreneurial spirit.
Our graduates are present in various sectors of the Tunisian and international industry, with many having founded their own startups. Others are involved in academic positions, contributing to research and teaching within universities. They also actively participate in the life of their school, making a valuable contribution to our educational ecosystem.
We also have a Career and Competency Certification Center-4C whose mission is to enhance student employability through counseling programs, support, training, and engagement with the socio-economic environment. Moreover, our incubator, associated with a fablab, provides a creative and collaborative space to develop innovative projects, encourage entrepreneurship, and inspire our students to launch their own startups.
We also offer PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, supported by two thesis committees that guide PhD candidates through innovative research projects. ENISo also hosts the Doctoral School "Science & Engineering"-EDSI, which unites five prestigious institutions of the University of Sousse: ESST, ISIT'Com, ISSATS, ISTLS, ENISo, and the CRMN Research Center. The EDSI includes nine renowned research laboratories, including NOCCS, LMS, and LATIS, based at ENISo.
Our research work focuses on industry-oriented projects and international collaborations, strengthening the link between science and industrial application.
Our vision is clear: we aim for excellence by uniting our entire community—faculty, students, administrative, technical and support staff, as well as our socio-economic and academic partners—around an ambitious strategy. We implement a policy of support for pedagogical innovation, applied research, and entrepreneurship, while promoting a collaborative and fulfilling work environment for everyone.
Together, we are building a future where our engineers will be key players in sustainable development, technological transformation of society, and creators of economic opportunities.
